Member Benefit
Membership type:
Title 1. There shall be four categories of membership: Regular Membership, Senior Membership, Life Membership, and Corporate Membership.
1. Regular Membership. Regular Membership shall be open to all persons free of charge who share the stated purposes of the Association, who are currently residing or have studied or worked in the U.S.A or China with at least a B.S. degree or equivalent. Regular Members are usually those who registered through the website http://www.cespn.net.
2. Senior Membership. Honorary Membership shall be open to all persons who share the stated purposes of the Association, who are currently residing or have studied or worked in the U.S.A or China with at least a B.S. degree or equivalent, who has paid an annual membership fee of $10. Admission into Honorary Membership shall been approved by the President or Governing Board.
3. Life Membership. Honorary Membership shall be open to all persons who share the stated purposes of the Association, who are currently residing or have studied or worked in the U.S.A or China with at least a B.S. degree or equivalent, who has paid a one-time membership fee of $100. Admission into Honorary Membership shall been approved by the President or Governing
Board. Former Chairpersons and Presidents of CESPN shall be automatically rewarded as life member.
4. Corporate Membership. Corporate Membership shall be open to all corporations and organizations who share the stated purposes of the Association and support the Association, and whose admission into Corporate Membership shall be approved by the President or Governing Board.
Member Rights and Benefits:
All members shall have the right to participate in CESPN sponsored activities.
All members shall have the right to be candidates for CESPN Chairperson, President, and members of Governing Board and Executive Committee with qualifications defined in Article III of this By-Law.
Honorary and life members shall have the right to get a copy of publication and other services as decided by Governing Board.
The names of the Life members shall be archived on CESPN web-site.
The logos and/or names of the Corporate Members shall be displayed on CESPN web-site.
Resignation and Removals
Members of the Association may resign at any time by writing notice of resignation to the Governing Board. Membership may be removed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Governing Board for any conducts in violation of this CESPN By-Laws.
